Crispy French Loaf baked hot, drizzled with olive oil.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Refined Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Dry Yeast
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Ekin Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- Lukewarm Water To Knead The Dough
- A Greased Baking Tray

Instructions
- Dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup lukewarm water and sprinkle yeast over it.
- Leave in a draught-free place till it froths a little.
- Mix the sugar, oil, and salt into the flour and then knead into a soft dough.
- Cover with a wet cloth and leave to rise in a draught-free place.
- When it doubles, punch it and leave to rise again.
- Roll dough flat, to 1/8" thick. Roll like a swiss roll and shape into a long roll.
- Place on the greased tray and leave to rise for 15-20 minutes.
- Brush with some salted water and bake in a pre-heated oven for about 20 minutes.
